Jennifer Zamparelli has announced that she will be co-hosting the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.

The comedian will be joining fellow Breakfast Republic presenter Nicky Byrne on the dancing show’s debut.

Bridget and Eamon star has always been a fan of the dancing competition and cannot wait to be a part of it in the new year.

Talking to RTÉ, the presenter said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Dancing with the Stars team.

“I was lucky enough to witness the live production first hand last year when I sat in the audience supporting Bernard O’Shea and I was genuinely so impressed by the overall scale of the show.

The newest season is set to debut in the new year and we cannot wait to see it.

11 celebrities will join the lineup, learning professional dance routings and wowing the judges with their sequenced fashion.
