Due to an illness, this little boy, Joel, and his mother had to relocate to Edmonton, Alberta for hospital treatments.
Sadly, this meant the family had to be divided as dad, Marc, and Joel’s little brother stayed behind in Saskatchewan.
However, just in time for Father’s Day, Marc was met at work with an amazing surprise, WestJet and Ronald McDonald Charities Canada had worked together to get him to his family.
They trained a kind WestJet employee to carry out his city transit job and got him and his other son on a plane to his wife and child.
What a beautiful story.
