For two years, Sabastian Lucas has been selling cups of homemade lemonade in order to save up and buy a pony.

Sabastian started his business when he was just five-years-old, selling cups of his beverage to neighbours and friends.

“We cut the lemons, squeezed them in and then we’d cook the syrup and add sugar,” the youngster told the Courier Mail.

Well, last weekend his hard work paid off, and Sabastian's parents told him if he could master some of the basics of caring for horses, they would get him a pony.

Juliana, the child's mum, said that: “We had a deal with him if he could get himself on and off correctly and walk and trot correctly we would find him a pony.”

Sabastian's parents were so impressed with their son's skills, and secretly transported a lovely white horse, named Tom, home with them.

THANKFULLY Juliana recorded Sabastian's first meeting with his new pony...

Sabastian was brought to tears, and exclaimed  “I can’t believe this morning I wished extra hard for a pony and this afternoon all my dreams came true.”
