Singer, Phil Collins made his first performance, since his retirement in 2011, at his sons' school music concert.
Parents and students of the Miami middle school were left shocked, when Phil took to the stage to perform two of his songs: In the Air Tonight and Land of Confusion.
Phil apparently thought about coming out of retirement for a while, but its only when his sons convinced him to perform at their middle school music show that he decided to go for it.
The 63-year-old singer admitted though, despite his experience, he was still nervous about performing at the school show.
“I’ve been doing this all my life, but it’s still, ‘How good could it be tonight?’ And all of these kids came up to me yesterday and were very brave — and made me feel a part of the band."
Collins shares custody of his sons, Nicholas who is 13 and Mathew who is nine, with his third ex-wife, Orianne Collins Mejjati.
Phil is also father to his 41-year-old daughter Joely, 38-year-old son Simon and his daughter, Lily Collins, who is 25.
