It’s always a shame to see our children’s creative work end up in the rubbish bin, and one innovative toy company has come up with a way to immortalise it forever.
Budsies has launched a new service whereby it can now take a drawing and transform it into a plush toy that your child will have to keep.
The Florida-based company can work its magic on anything – photographs, drawings, and even people – and has customers queuing up to capture their special moments.
Founder Alex Furmansky opened up on the inspiration behind the service, telling BuzzFeed.com that the idea came from his talented little sister.
“I saw her parading from camp, pre-school, and elementary school with really cool drawings on a regular basis. The best ones would start on the fridge, but even her most imaginative ones would meet their inevitable fate in the recycle bin,” he explained.
And just like that, Budsies was born. Judging from the faces of children who have been lucky enough to get a Budsie, this is a delightful gift for any talented little artist.
