BBC presenter, Gabby Logan, says she was angered by continuous questions about her children while in Brazil reporting on the World Cup.

Gabby’s children, twins, Lois and Reuben, remained at home with their dad, Kenny Logan, who is a former Scottish rugby player.

During a recent interview, the mum-of-two described how she was repeatedly asked: “Who’s looking after the children?”

Gabby said that the inequality between working mums and male colleagues is still very rampant: “People still think it’s a woman’s responsibility to organise everything. When I was away, some of the mums at school asked Kenny how he was coping. No one asked me that when he [her husband] was working in Australia last year. I’m often asked who’s looking after the children when I’m away, yet my male colleagues aren’t.”

Of course, the mum of nine-year-old twins, Lois and Reuben, was glad to get home to her little ones: “England’s early exit from the World Cup was a silver lining because I could go home to see my kids.”
