TV presenter Juila Bradbury is expecting a second child at age 44 after a course of IVF.

The BBC Countryfile presenter had her first child, Zephyr, at age 41, following a difficult pregnancy and birth. She had longed for a sibling for her three-year-old son, but had resigned herself to the fact that it may not happen due to her endometriosis - a painful condition affecting the womb.

However Julia is now three months along and said she is "thrilled" and feels "incredibly lucky."

As well as suffering from endometriosis, Julia was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia during her pregnancy with Zephyr. His birth, which Julia has described as "traumatic towards the end", had to be induced.

Despite the complications, Julia made no secret of her wish for more children with property developer boyfriend Gerard Cunningham.

Speaking in an interview last year, she said: "I would love Zeph to have a brother or sister but I am 43 and have to be realistic."
