Dawn, who was born in Scotland but grew up in Guernsey, and her Irish husband, chose to stay in America for the big day as they prepare for the birth of their first child.
Despite the differences in temperatures they may be used to in their home countries, it sounds like the couple had a fabulous day, with Dawn tweeting: “2 people, 1 x 12lb turkey, 6 sides, a Christmas pudding & 6 different cheeses. We are pretending our entire family is here. They ain’t! #NOM.”

The couple also shared adorable photos of their Stateside Christmas Day, with Dawn posing for a photo by a road sign that read ‘bump’ wearing a Christmas cracker hat.
Her husband also posed for a photo with Dawn’s bump wearing sunglasses and a printed shirt, with Dawn captioning: “Chris’ shirt tho!”
Dawn and Chris were married in August 2012. It looks like the couple had a lovely day together and are very excited about their impending arrival.
