What are the chances?

Twin brothers are celebrating the arrival of their new baby sons – who were born on the exact same day.

Jeromme and Jarrell Spence, both 21, from Fordhouse in the UK, became fathers for the first time within hours of each other after their partners both gave birth on Monday.

While both sets of parents had been given the exact same due date for their little bundles of joy, the twins say that they never expected this amazing turn of events.

Jeromme and his girlfriend Tegan welcomed son Cameron at 2.04am, with Jarrell and Francesca’s son Cassen arriving later on at 4.34am.

Speaking after the birth of the boys, proud dad Jeromme said: “We knew that our partners were both given the same due date, but we just never expected the births to really be on the same day.”

Twin brother Jarrell added: “It is absolutely amazing that we became fathers of sons on the same day.”

The odds of twin men welcoming sons on the same day is 1 in 150,000, according to Ladbrokes Bookmakers.

It will be a busy Christmas in those households this year!
