Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck expecting third child
24/08/2011 12:01
One of our favourite Hollywood couples, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, have announced they are expecting their third child. The couple, who were married in 2005, already have two little girls, Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2.
Representatives for the couple released a statement saying the pair are ‘thrilled’ about their impending addition to the family.
The Afflecks are definitely Hollywood’s loveliest family and we were delighted to hear the news.
We here at MummyPages HQ are hoping they have another girl…we think they seem like a girly kind of family. What do you think? Would it be nice for Ben to have a son?

Beyonce announces she's pregnant at VMAs
29/08/2011 17:27
Well she certainly kept this one a secret! Beyonce had a surprise for the audience at the MTV Video Music awards – she revealed she is pregnant.
Showing up to the awards proudly displaying her bump in this stunning Lanvin dress, the 29 year old rubbed her visible bump and told the press on the red carpet ‘I have a surprise!’
Beyonce then took to the stage at the award ceremony performing her new song ‘Love On Top’ wearing a glitzy D&G jacket which hid her bump. At the end of her performance she unbuttoned the jacket to reveal her surprise to audience.
Her rapper husband Jay-Z, who she married in 2008, was shown in the audience beaming while friend Kanya West jumped up and down and shook his hand congratulating him.
The singer had said in a previous interview with Piers Morgan that she would like to have started her family by the time she was 30 – she will turn 20 on September 4th.
We are wondering how she managed to hide her pregnancy until now? She had afour-night stand at New York City’s The Roseland earlier this month and there were no signs of a bump! What were your tricks for concealing your pregnancy until you were ready to tell the world?

Mel B gives birth
02/09/2011 12:49
Mel B has given birth to a baby girl. The former Spice Girl was admitted to hospital last night and she welcomed her little girl at around 5am in Los Angeles. Mel is married to Stephen Belafonte and this is their first child together.
Mel is already mother to Phoenix Chi, 12, from her marriage to Jimmy Gulzar and Angel, 4, from her relationship with Eddie Murphy.
Amazingly, she tweeted about the new baby’s arrival hours after giving birth saying
'Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!'
They have yet to announce the name of the latest addition to the family.
Earlier in the week, Mel revealed she was trying to induce labour and had tried everything from spicy foods to sex.
'Ideally I want it to come naturally. But I've tried everything, I've tried the hot food, the running, the sex, the violence, I've tried it all. It just seems to be stuck and hibernating in there getting bigger and bigger, so it's coming out this week for sure.'
Really struggling with feeding

My DD is two weeks old and I have to say I'm really struggling. I can't crack the whole latching on and I'm incredibly sore each time I try to feed. It's shockingly painful. I'm totally cracked and bleeding - can anyone tell me if this is likely to improve soon as I'm close to giving up.

NiceMama I'm so sorry that you aren't getting on so well. Have you considered looking for help like from Cuidiu or La Leche? Or even your local health nurse?

What's Your Number?
08/09/2011 17:14
‘What’s Your Number’ is the hilarious new romantic comedy starring the always funny Anna Faris and the gorgeous Chris Evans. The story follows Ally who is in search of the best ‘ex’ of her life. She reads a magazine article claiming that “women who have had 20 or more partners in their lifetime have a good chance of staying single for life.” After counting the men in her own life, Ally begins to lose hope of ever getting married. Vowing not to exceed her current number, she enlists the help of her handsome neighbour (Evans) and becomes obsessed with tracking down her old boyfriends to see if she may have missed “the one.”

Jennifer Garner joins the mummy-knickers brigade!
19/09/2011 11:17
Here at MummyPages we have a soft spot for Jennifer Garner. Although she is a stunning famous actress with a gorgeous movie star husband, she often demonstrates how she is just another normal mum. Whether she’s out in the rain watching little Violet’s soccer game, or shopping at the farmers market with hubby Ben, she is clearly one of the most down-to-earth mums in Hollywood.
But the photo that we really related to was the 'holey-knickers' photo. One of the unfortunate side effects of becoming a mum is your underwear drawer may take a battering. While we might find time to do the occasional clothes shopping, finding time to buy lovely new lingerie is a rarity. And when we’re getting ready in the morning, we generally don’t have time to search our drawers for our best undies, so, like Jennifer, we grab the first pair at hand and try to get dressed quickly before the kids come bursting into us.
However, we then spotted Jen wearing a pink lacy thong and wondered, is this typical mummy underwear? Maybe, once again, she just grabbed the first pair out of the wash, although we suspect after the holey-knicker photo, she started choosing her underwear more carefully in the mornings.
Do you have a mixed bag drawer of undies? Do you replace and replenish frequently or do you wear them until they wear out? And what kind of underwear do you prefer? Nice matching underwear or are you part of the comfy-undies brigade?
Any nice Irish names that aren't very harsh sounding?

Our favourite British spy is returning to the big screen Friday October 7th with the release of Johnny English Reborn. Rowan Atkinson (even better than Daniel Craig, right ladies?) reprises his role as the accidental secret agent who doesn’t know fear or danger in this comedy spy-thriller.

Since we last saw Agent English, he vanished off the spy grid and has been perfecting his unique skills in a remote region of Asia. When MI-7 learns that the life of the Chinese premier might be in danger, they hunt down Johnny English and he is back in action once again.
To celebrate the release of Johnny English Reborn we have lots of goodies to give away including 10 sets of Johnny English Reborn t-shirts and spy pens as well as family cinema passes (4 people) to the movie which can be used anywhere in the country.
