tommee tippee® closer to nature® soothers - Feedback

Thank you for including us in the trial. We received the soothers and they have gone down very well. Grace can be fussy about the type she will use and so I am glad to say she was very content using these. They are nicely designed, I particularly liked the air style ones as Grace is teething and very drooly at the moment, and i felt like these were better for giving her skin some air. The only minor improvement for me would be adding some kind of hygene shield or travel case so that they can be chucked into a bag for later use. I have used other items of the tommy tippee brand, bottles etc and I would certainly buy these too. Many Thanks.

We started using ours as soon we got it. I really wanted to know what all the fuss was about. And now I know.
I had heard about tommee tippee closer to nature soothers before - two of the other mums in my group were telling me, but to be honest, I'm on baby number three, so I take a lot of what is said about great new things with a pinch of salt. But on this one, I'm happy to admit - these are all they're cracked up to be and more.
There is only one soother my little one will use, and we generally don't like change - well, truthfully mother doesnt' like change, so change doestn't tend to happy. But lately I had noticed that the soothers just were sitting right / not staying in etc. So I was happy to give these a go. She took to them instantly. I love the bright colours, and the air style ones are really cool - especially for dribblers ;)
Would recommend them without hesitation.

Thanks so much for including me. We're big fans of the tomee tippee brand in our house, and never had any problems,. Had heard about these new soothers, but just haven't had a chance to try them., So perfect timing eh?
They were great, the little one took to them completely and there's been no issue. she can be a little tetchy when we change things on her, but in this instance she didn't mind - so I think that's a firm commendation from herself. Direct from the baby's mouth as it were.
I would definitely recommend to another mum.

Delighted with the tommee tippee closer to natuer soothers, my little one took to them i nstantly, great that they have the orthodontic silicone teat - I often worry about healthy oral development. And the fact that the teat are designed to be easy for the baby to hold in their mouths is brilliant - the less soothers falling out the better for mummy :)
Loved the colour and designs - really sweet.
Thanks so much for introducing these to me ... they'll be my go to soothers from now on. Hurrah!

hello mummys! and daddys too :) i have really enjoyed being a tester for the tommee tippee sangenic nappy disposal system.
i have used many tommee tippee products in the past for my little girl , now 7 months old and they have never failed to impress me, so i was very excited to try out this new nappy disposal system as i hadn't seen this product in the shops yet and was eager to find out if it was better than the previous nappy bin i had been using. when it arrived i opened it up , threw the instructions to the side and starting setting it up myself, thinking i know best!! it was very easy to figure out and pop the disposable bag cassette unit in...but then i had to reach for the instuctions as i didn't know what to do next ,as it was very different from my other bin! within seconds i understood the instructions...and my little girl was on cue with a dirty nappy for me to try out! well what can i say...ANOTHER AMAZING PRODUCT FROM TOMMEE TIPPEE! unlike my other nappy bin, this one is so much more cleaner ,hygenic and locks away odours. Instead of having to push your hand through a slot into the inside of the bin where all the old smelly nappys are (like my old one) you just lift the lid , pop the nappy in place and do a full circle with the handle which twists and seals the nappy into its own little bag! perfect , and for such a small ,easily transportable bin it does hold a lot of nappies , each sealed in their own little bag so when it comes to emptying the bin ,the smells are trapped away. resulting in a cleaner smelling outside bin too! :) i found this disposale system saves time and is nice and small and the design looks quite nice too, i do believe they do blue and pink ones too which is a really nice idea. i would definitely recommend this nappy disposal system to all the parents out there, you wont be dissapointed.
thanks tommee tippee!

I hadn't been too sure of the best way of dealing with nappies in my sons room, some you just want straight outside even if it's the middle of the night and definitely not hanging around! The Tommee Tippee Sangnic Nappy Disposal System is better than I had expected. I hadn't seen the Tommee Tippee one for sale but had seen other makes with a similar principle. I don't have many Tommee Tippee products, I do have the Perfect Prep machine which is another brilliant and time saving bit of kit.
So, The Tommee Tippee Sangnic Nappy Disposal System.
Really simple to put together and really easy to use, empty and re-tie for the next bin full of dirty nappies, to make the most out of using it correctly it's worth reading the instructions which are really easy to take in really quickly.
It's also a really neat unit which doesn't look imposing or ugly in the room which is important to me. It's a good enough size whilst still being fairly compact to hold nearly a week's worth of nappies for us. This surprised me - I wouldn't have dreamt of having nappies hanging around that long in the nursery because of the smell you get not long after it's off - but this is brilliant. Even popping the nappy in without being in another nappy bag there is no smell - even from the worst ones! This is also easy to do because the lid will stay up if you want it to so you can put bits in there when you're done ie. the nappy - the wipes etc. I was actually amazed by the lack of smell!
This is a neat, easy to use, time saving, not at all fiddly and pleasant smelling solution to nappy disposal. I'll be continuing to use this and buy the refills for it because it's handy and convenient whatever the nappy situation. I'd definitely recommend it if like me you don't want to be going out to the bin every time and similarly don't want dirty nappies hanging around.
Thank you for the trial MummyPages

I was selected to test this product and having recently had twin girls I was really pleased to give it a try.
It's so easy to put together and use I even had my older girls using it!! It was able to dispose of & hold almost 2 days worth of nappies and considering I have double the amount I thought that was pretty good. There wasn't too much of a bad smell either upon emptying the unit!
Overall I really like this product. I've never had one before so it was a novelty for me but I enjoyed using it and would like to say thank you for the opportunity to test it. I would recommend this to mums and in particular to mums of multiple babies :-)

Thankyou for choosing us for the tommee tippee trial. I have a 9 week old daughter (plus a 3 year old whose already potty trained) so this would come in handy to trial. To start with the design is great. I love how it stores away the nappies so compact and no odours are let out even when the lid is opened! The only flaw I would say is that when you go to spin the handle to lock the nappies in it can be a bit difficult as you can hit your hand on push down part. It's held a lot of nappies which is great! We have managed to only use one refill (which was in the system already) and has been used regularly for over two weeks now with our newborn going at least 8 times a day so that's a lot of nappies. I would definitely recommend this to my friends (never used one with my first child but always wanted to) and very happy with it :)

As a mum of an 18 month old and a 9 week old I was excited to chosen to trial this new tommee tippee sangenic nappy bin out. As you can imagine this house uses a lot of nappies especially with a teething baby with a bad belly.

Having used tommee tippee products before I wouldn't of expected anything less than high quality and this does not fail. The bin itself is quite compact but in a clinical white it is quite obvious that it is a bin and doesn't look nice. It's not a problem if you have it upstairs but as I do most nappy changes downstairs mine was in the living room and it didn't look good. Also not very good for a moving baby as my 18 month old just thought it was a new thing to play with.

I like the idea of not going out to bin all the time as it saved time and I didn't have to leave the children to run out to the bin however that's where the positives stop for me.

The main problem with the product is the sheer cost of the refill bags. I had used 4 refill bags within a week and at £15 for a box of 3 refills this would be result in being a very expensive product to use.

As for the smell. Yes it doesn't smell like you have a bag full of dirty nappies near you but everytime you open the bin you let the smell out and it lingers for a while.

Thank you for allowing me to trial it but I'll be sticking to my 300 nappy bags for 40p and running out to the bin.
