It was only May of last year when Amanda Holden predicted her Britain’s Got Talent boss would never marry or have kids, saying: “That is never going to happen. Not everyone wants that out of life.”
However, since becoming a dad for the first time in February of this year, it looks like Simon Cowell has had a complete change of heart regarding parent-hood.
The X Factor boss has said that he wants a baby brother or sister for his son Eric: “Of course I’d like another child….I’d always have another.
“I’ve thought about having one in between the series of X Factor.”
However, it sounds like all the dirty work will be left up to mum Lauren Silverman as Simon admits he still hasn’t changed a nappy: “I don’t think you have to. It’s like watching your girlfriend go to the loo. You don’t really want to. You’ve got a choice.”
Perhaps it’s about time Simon made the choice to help Eric’s mum out a bit more – life can’t always be as glamourous as the X Factor.
