EEK! We always get so excited when a new Disney film comes out, and while we’ll always adore the classics, we love how funny and sassy the contemporary ones are.

So it seems after the whopper success of Frozen, Disney are taking us somewhere hot and balmy this time – Hawaii! (Thank God we say – we were really starting to feel the cold.)

Yep, Disney’s newest animated flick Moana is set by the sea amongst palm trees and sandy beaches. Moana is Disney’s first ever Polynesian princess. She’ll be voiced by an unknown, 14-year old Auli’i Cravalho from Oahu Hawaii, who was among thousands to audition for the role.

The story centres on Moana, a spirited (is there any other kind in a Disney movie?) teenage girl who sets sail in search of a fabled island in the ancient world of Oceania. Along the way she teams up with a demigod named Maui (played by MM fave Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson) and comes across her fair share of mythical creatures and fascinating places.

The teaser trailer has just been released, and we dunno about you, but we can’t wait until it comes out – it looks brilliant. Not that we’d expect anything else from good ‘ol Dizzers.

Moana is set to come to cinemas this November.

SHARE if you can’t wait (and are secretly hoping a new song will come along and usurp “Let It Go”)!
