A young boy filled his family with pride when he made the decision to give a pair of his trainers away to a classmate.
A photo of the sweet boy holding the nearly-new trainers was posted on beloved Facebook page Love What Matters with the tear-jerking caption, “Today, Jaymes asked me if he could give a pair of his LeBron 13s to a friend at school because his friends soles were falling off. He said ‘why should I have all these nice shoes and my friend has to glue the bottoms on his?’ I’m beyond proud of the heart this kid has.”
We couldn’t help well up reading this. It’s amazing that this boy has such a sense of gratitude for how lucky he is. We think it’s such a mature and selfless decision to pay it forward to a friend less fortunate. No doubt his parents are doing a fantastic job raising him.
