What you'll need:
  • Large sheet of white paper (cut into a square)
  • 2 coloured markers or crayons
  • Pink and yellow paint
  • Egg cartons (24 egg cups)
  • Orange, white and pink coloured card
  • Cotton wool
  • Glue
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Black marker.
Instructions:
  1. Paint half the egg cups pink and the other half yellow.
  2. While they dry, mark out the squares on your checkers board by drawing 7 lines horizontally and another 7 vertically. Colour the squares in, alternating your two colours.
  3. Cut out 12 sets of ears from the pink card and clue these onto the top of the pink egg cups. These will be your Bunnies.
  4. Glue the cotton wool tails onto each bunny and draw on a face using the black marker.
  5. To create the Chicks, cut out 12 small triangles from the orange card to create their beaks. Glue these on and draw eyes onto the yellow eggs cups.
  6. Cut 12 pairs of wings from the white card and glue them onto the back of the Chicks.
  7. Enjoy hours of Easter checkers with your little one.
