A woman in Kazakhstan has come in for major criticism today, after a video of her pushing her child in his buggy while simultaneously driving her car went viral online.
The woman, known only as Anastasia, was recorded driving her car along slowly in a car park, with one hand hanging out of the window pushing the buggy.
The video was then shared online by a family friend – with unexpected results.
Indeed, the mother herself has admitted to being ‘shocked’ when she began to receive negative comments under the video.
She added that the child found the whole thing ‘amusing’, and insisted that she would never do anything to put the little boy in danger.
Now, police in Kazakhstan are investigating the incident, with the video garnering worldwide attention online.
“We are checking the video. We will make our decision soon,” a police rep said, in a statement.
While one Twitter user branded the mother ‘stupid’, another commented: “Driving while pushing a pram probably isn’t a good parenting technique.”
