Relationships are difficult, and we can often be left feeling thrown when our exes move on and, suddenly, there’s another parent on the scene.

Mother Audrey Nicole has a special message to send out, however: give ‘the other woman’ a break, and appreciate her loving care.

Posting a photo of her daughter and ex’s girlfriend to Love What Matters, Audrey admitted that she is eternally grateful to this special woman.

“Why do all these mums act so spiteful and jealous towards the other woman?” she asked, reflecting on how well ‘the other woman’ in her life treats her daughter.

She goes on to make a very valid point that everyone in her situation should take on board.

“No one ever said it was easy trying to be a mother to a kid you don’t have. So, when there is someone trying, don’t push them away!” she urged.

Indeed, no one wants to end up in the alternate situation, with the ‘evil step-mum’, do they?

Audrey went on to make a case for a ‘two mum’ situation, and we think she is hitting the nail on the head, here.

“A kid can have two mums because, in my eyes, the more people that love her – I’m happy! I would never make her feel like an outsider; I’m extremely thankful for this girl,” she added.
