We’re complete, self-confessed HOPELESS romantics – and as It’s nearly Valentine’s Day, we can't help thinking about all things lurve.
So, in honour of Val Day here are 14 loved-up signs that our hubby is our very best friend:
1. They’re the FIRST person you phone whenever something happens, good or bad. Whether it’s a crappy day at work or amazing news (Like Beyoncé’s new world tour for instance) we’re dialling their number.
2. You can look like a state in front of them – we’re talking toothpaste on your spots and your Bambi pyjamas – and they’ll still think you’re a babe.
3. You have ridiculous in-jokes that crack you both up. But make everyone else look on blankly and say, “Weirdos”.
4. You often say to each other, “If people heard the stuff we talk about they’d think we were lunatics”. But you say it smugly, ‘cos you know what you’ve got is special.
5. Your favourite thing to do is chill out with each other watching movies. Total bliss.
6. You trust them with your life.
7. You both know that the other isn’t perfect, but you love each other anyway. Sure no one’s perfect. Not even Ryan Gosling. He probably annoys Eva Mendes by not unloading the dishwasher or leaving coffee rings all over the gaff.
8. You can whinge, moan and cry to them – often unreasonably – and God help them they’ll sit and listen and try to help.
9. You know them inside and out. And they know you inside and out. And you STILL want to kiss each other. Ain’t love grand?
10. Like some sort of East Side gang, they have your back no matter what.
11. It might sounds cheesy, but you think a million tomorrows aren’t enough time to spend together. Aww.
12. You go to each other for advice and trust the other’s opinion.
13. They ALWAYS have your best interest at heart. ‘Cos you’re the number one person in their life.
14. They’re brutally honest with you if you need it. And even if we eat the face off them in the heat of the moment (erm… these things happen) we’re always glad of it in the end.
