All marriages have their ups and downs. Teresa and Rob Turner's is no exception. The frustrated wife put her husband up for sale on a Facebook group after a lovers’ spat.

The 34-year-old mum described her partner as “annoying but house-trained” and was “free to collect” on the Facebook post.

“I don't want no money he is FREE. He is house-trained and toilet-trained. First to collect”, she wrote on Facebook.

The joke, however, backfired when 300 Facebook users expressed an interest in purchasing the man.

Rob responded to the post well and saw the sense of humour in it. “Brilliant, do I get my tea cooked too?” The post has now received over three hundred comments.

Teresa decided to “sell off” her husband after he kept playing a video that was “annoying and aggravating".

She claims to have misophonia, which is a condition in which negative emotions, thoughts, and physical reactions are triggered by specific sounds.

“I just found this video of a person crunching really loudly, and she told me to stop playing it,” said Rob according to the Daily Mail.

“I just played it to her over and over again, so she went upstairs and then I just saw this notification on Facebook saying I was for sale or something.”

The Norfolk-native also told of her husband’s bad habits including leaving dirty socks around the house and teasing her.

“She's always telling me to do the washing up, cut the grass... she even cut up my football boots so that I wouldn't play football,” said Rob.

“It was because I'd broken my leg twice though and I'm not supposed to run, so it came from a good place, really.”

The post has received many positive reactions:

“I've tried giving mine away for free too, but no one wanted him.” said one Facebook user.

“Does he come with a 30 day return policy?” asked another.

A week after the post was written, Rob wrote another comment on the post: “No one's come to the house to collect me!”

“My husband thought it was funny and still does. He's got a great sense of humour, thankfully,” said Theresa.

“It gave a lot of people something to laugh at and it brightened up their day. I'm happy that our silly sense of humour made others laugh.”

Despite the hilarious and public quarrel, the Turners are happily married and have one daughter named Bella. They recently celebrated their fourth anniversary this month.
