Get your tissues ready, mums.
Twitter user Kyle Jauregui was getting ready to pick up his little sister Madison's birthday cake the other day. She was turning 11, and the family had gotten her a gorgeous purple cake.
When the family arrived at the bakery, though, the cake had already been paid for in full.
A stranger, known only as 'McKenna's Mom' purchased the cake in memory of her daughter, who shared Madison's birthday and would be turning 10. McKenna died when she was less than a year old.
"Each year I do this random act of kindness because I am unable to buy my daughter a cake of her own," the mum wrote, "Today is her big double digit birthday. Please enjoy your day."
So today is my sisters birthday and when we went to pick up her cake someone had already paid for it. It was left with this card... my family was speechless and we just want to say thank you to McKenna's mom and wish McKenna a Happy Birthday. Kyle and his family were left 'speechless' at the generosity of this stranger.
"We just want to say thank you to McKenna's mom and wish McKenna a Happy Birthday. There's still good in this world," Kyle tweeted.
Others on Twitter also found their hearts warmed by the woman's generosity. Kyle's tweet already has 133K likes!
One of the best parts of this random act of kindness was that it inspired others to share the goodwill they showed to or received from others.
i used my card to buy a drink for the car behind me at @dutchbrosaz because that was something my mom and i enjoyed doing pic.twitter.com/x5ElUSgm12

This is what I like to see in my Twitter feed.. a woman paid for my meal today at a McDonalds drive thru cause I let her go first and the only way I can thank her is by paying it forward

What a beautiful way to honor this person’s daughter. God bless this parent I think I’ll start doing this on my mother’s birthday to honor her- such a great idea

We love this sentiment! And those random act of kindness cards from MISS Foundation (which supports people who have lost children) are such a wonderful way to honour loved ones who are no longer with us.
Our hearts go out to McKenna's family. Her life is still making a difference.
What was the last random act of kindness that touched you, mums?
