He sensationally resigned as Prime Minister earlier this year - paving the way for Theresa May's reign.
However, this afternoon David Cameron confirmed that he is fully stepping away from his parliamentary responsibilities.

Confirming that he has already informed Ms May of his decision, Mr Cameron told ITV News deputy political editor Chris Ship that he could no longer serve the people of West Oxfordshire.
"David Cameron says he has no current plans for his future but, as former Prime Minister, can't be full constituency MP for people of Witney," Mr Ship revealed.

Resigning from No.10 on June 24 in the wake of Britain's decision to leave the EU, Mr Cameron had initially said in a statement: "I will continue with my duties as the MP for Witney."
