Thor: The Dark World star Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky are expecting their second baby.

 

The couple has just confirmed that their 18-month-old daughter India Rose will be getting a little brother or sister soon. Spanish actress Elsa, known for her role in Fast & Furious, is three months pregnant.

 

Chris' new movie is currently riding high at the box office, but he still has time to show what a proud dad he is. Just yesterday, he shared an adorable photo of himself and India on his Instagram account, captioning the snap "my princess".

 

The Aussie actor has recently talked about how special fatherhood is. "I think (parenthood) brings out the child in all of us," he said. "That's what's so beautiful. It reminds you of the fascination you had with things and how you can spend hours just being with someone. It's amazing."

 

Elsa has also praised her husband's parenting skills. ''He's the person I feel closest to and we understand each other very well. And then I see him as a great dad - it's important to know if the person you're with will be good at parenthood,'' she said.

 

Chris and Elsa started dating in early 2010 and got married in December of that year. They welcomed little India in May 2012.

Many parents will be able to relate to Coleen Rooney’s latest tweet as she admits that her four-year-old son, Kai, is just starting to sleep in his own bed: “Yay!! Kai slept all night in his own bed, without sneaking into me! Think his big boy bedroom is going to work @dawnward4 #fingerscrossed”

 

The 27-year-old and her designer friend Dawn Ward clearly put a lot of time into trying to get the little boy to break the habit by transforming his bedroom into one more suited for a bigger boy, which seems to have done the trick.

 

Coleen had previously admitted that her eldest child is an early riser, so will benefit from not being disturbed in the middle of the night.

 

I'm sure both mum and dad are hoping that their six-month-old son, Klay, doesn't get into the same habit. 

 

It looks like Pearl Osbourne will be taking after her grandmother Sharon Osbourne with a career in television. The X Factor judge tweeted this adorable picture of the 19-month-old sitting in her make-up chair at The Talk dressing room.

 

Proud grandma captioned the funny snap: “Little Pearl in my make-up chair at @TheTalk_CBS. Look for @JackOsbourne & @CherylBurke on tomorrow’s show!”

Sharon has been embracing her role as grandmother since the little one’s birth in April last year, and admitted: “I am going to be a grandmother from hell because I would do everything you are meant to do. I’m going to spoil her rotten.”

The singer, who is expecting his first baby with wife Giovanna next year, admits that he doesn’t have any experience with kids so has been doing as much research as possible: "I'm hearing so many horror stories and I don't have a clue, I seriously need to read some books"  

 

While the 28-year-old plans on being a hands-on-dad, he also acknowledges that expecting a baby is a lot easier for him than his wife: “It is easier – I don’t have a bump or have to breastfeed, which is a massive plus. Although I would love to feel what it’s like having a baby inside me.”

 

It sounds like Tom and Giovanna are going to make a great team when their little one arrives.

The supermodel was all wrapped up as she spent the afternoon in a Boston park with her gorgeous 11-month-old and the mummy daughter duo seemed very content under the bright autumn leaves. The 33-year-old captioned the picture: “#love #grateful”.

 

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel also recently open up about what she considers to be the most important moment of her life: “Every moment is important and unique. But if I had to choose one it would be the birth of my children.” 

 

Josh Duhamel has shared an adorable picture of his son, Axl Jack, in a miniature Ferrari... although the little boy doesn’t appear to be impressed. The proud dad captioned the sweet photo: “Babies, start your engines!”

While Josh and Fergie have shared several pictures of their three-month-old son, it is only recently that the couple have revealed the reason behind their decision to call him Axl. 

 

According to the mum-of-one, the name came about after she felt her son kick for the first time while she was having a dream that she was on stage singing with Jim Morrison, Bob Marley and Axl Rose:

 

“I told the story and [Josh] was like, Morrison? Marley? No. Axl Jack. That’s it! It just had this ring to it. It was very strong.” 

 

Peaches Geldof shared an adorable picture of her youngest son Phaedra playing with his toys on Instagram. The tiny tot looks so happy playing with his tractor and trailer and the proud mum, who affectionately called her son Widdle, captioned the photo: “Hee hee lil Widdle”.  

 

The 24-year-old is mum to two boys, 19-month-old Astala Dylan Willow and seven-month-old Phaedra Bloom Forever, with her husband Thomas Cohen.

 

Peaches was recently in the news after she took on former apprentice star Katie Hopkins about the touchy topic of Attachment Parenting. Geldof came out on the winning side and Hopkins, who was clearly fuming, described the young mum as “Mother Nature with a gob” in her newspaper column a few days later.

 

Former Neighbours actress Holly Valance and husband Nick Candy became parents for the first time after the 30-year-old gave birth to a little girl.

 

The couple, who tied the knot in September of last year, have named their new arrival Luka Violet Toni Candy. Nick’s father, Tony Candy, passed away six weeks prior to the little one’s birth and the couple have touchingly named their baby after her granddad.

 

The new dad couldn’t contain his excitement and gushed about his new arrival as he attended the Wonderland Ball, revealing: “Her nickname will be Lulu, but, obviously, if she ever goes into business, Lulu Candy just doesn’t quite work. My father’s nickname was always TC."

 

The new mum was absent from the ball and the proud husband explained why: "Holly is at home. We aren’t having any help at the moment. Holly doesn’t want any; she wants to do it all ourselves at this stage.”

Una Foden has been encouraging her daughter Aoife Belle “to go to little classes, like Baby Gym or Monkey Music", revealing that it is more about her “making friends than pushing her into sport or anything”.

 

With her father, Ben Foden, being a professional rugby player and her mum growing up with a love of sports, it’s not surprising that the little girl would be a very active toddler.

 

Revealing that she was as a competitive champion swimmer between the ages of six and 14, Una confesses that she “was more into sport than music growing up.”

 

The mum-of-one admits that staying in shape is an important part of being a professional singer “even if you don’t dance about like we do” but feels that the most important aspect of her fitness is being a positive role model to her 19-month-old daughter.

 

Megan Fox has revealed that her second pregnancy has been a lot easier than her first, confessing that she is able to handle the changes in her body better this time round.

 

The Transformers actress, who is mum to 14-month-old Noah, puts it down to the fact that she already has a little one to run around after and so doesn’t have time to think about things: “I'm so distracted taking care of him, that I don't really have time to sit and lament on the fact that I'm pregnant or indulge my pregnancy.”

 

While the 27-year-old and her husband, Brian Austin Green, kept the birth of Noah a secret from the media for three weeks, they have been a little more open about their second pregnancy, revealing last month that they are expecting a boy. 

 

Thor: The Dark World actor Chris Hemsworth, his wife Elsa Pataky and their 18-month-old daughter were rescued after their catamaran ran aground off the coast of San Sebastian de La Gomera.

 

A lifeboat, Civil Guard patrol boat and helicopter were on hand to make sure that the family and five other passengers were brought back to shore safely by boat.

 

Nobody was hurt in the incident but for Elsa, who is three-months-pregnant, and little India Rose it must have been a very frightening experience: “Nobody was hurt but any kind of rescue at sea is a scary event, especially for a pregnant woman with a young child.”

 

The family are in the Canary Islands while Chris films “In the Heart of the Sea” a movie about the sinking of a whaling ship in the Pacific in 1820. 

There’s a double dose of happy news from Jennifer Love Hewitt this morning.

 

The Ghost Whisperer actress revealed that not only did she give birth to a beautiful baby girl yesterday, but she also recently married the newborn’s father in a secret ceremony.

 

Jennifer and new husband Brian Hallisay announced the birth of their daughter through their representative, who revealed the little girl has been named Autumn James Hallisay.

 

The new mum has never made a secret of the fact she always wanted to start a family. During an interview in 2010, she said: “I would love to have babies... one day. I'm obsessed with babies!”

 

It seems like Jennifer will be a natural mum, as she’s already spoken about adopting a healthy attitude during her pregnancy.

 

“Every kid is different, every parent is different and every child and parent relationship is different, so you just sort of have to wait until you're in it and do the best that you can to try to be Zen in the middle of it all.”

 

The brand new parents first met on the set of TV show Love Bites and were later reunited when they worked together on Lifetime’s The Client List. They announced the pregnancy in June after 15 months of dating.

 

We’re guessing the new mum must be completely overwhelmed by all these happy events and we wish her all the luck in the world.

Since the amazing news that Kelly Clarkson is expecting her first child broke last week,  the expectant mum has been eager to discuss her pregnancy.

 

She talked openly about her experience with morning sickness while appearing on the Today show yesterday, saying: “It’s all day and all night.”

 

“I’m just looking forward to the second trimester,” she added.

 

Morning sickness was actually the reason news of her pregnancy broke earlier than planned, after it forced her to cancel a performance.

 

Kelly is currently promoting her first Christmas album, Wrapped in Red, and says she and husband Brandon Blackstock were “dying to tell people” the news, but wanted to wait until later in the pregnancy.

 

“I had to cancel something because I'd been so ill, so I didn't want people to think I was cancelling [because] I was lazy or something, so we just told people,” she said.

 

For anyone wondering about the baby’s gender, it’s too early to tell, but Kelly thinks she’s going to have a girl.

 

“She’s killing me,” said the excited singer. “Of course it’s a girl, causing the trouble.”

Kelly, who married Brandon last month, is stepmother to his two children from a previous marriage, but really wanted to add another child to their family. In fact, she was so set on having a baby that she and her husband had baby names picked out well in advance.

 

 

Victoria Beckham is very rarely seen without her dark sunglasses and reveals the reason she wears them is to hide the dark circles under her eyes.

 

Victoria, who is mum to 14-year-old Brooklyn, 12-year-old Romeo, Cruz who is nine and little Harper (2), confesses that the glasses hide her tired eyes due to the fact that, like other working mums, she doesn’t get much sleep: “These days, I’m up with at least one of my children most of the night, so I always wear a pair of sunglasses and a really good handbag.”

 

The busy mum doesn’t look like she will catching up on sleep anytime soon either, as she reveals that she would love to expand her fashion empire into a children’s collection.

 

“At some point I would love to do that, but having kids there’s so much to do. Working and having four kids is tough, but I will get there. “

 

With four kids at home and a fashion empire to run, Victoria admits that the key to success is to be organised: “There’s a lot of things to do, but if you organise yourself in the right way you can get it all done.”  

 

Thandie Newton admits that she underestimated how tough it would be to carry a child on set and says it has been "mayhem".

 

The Rogue star refused to quit her role as undercover cop Grace Travis in the American drama series and stayed filming right in to her third trimester.

 

Thandie, who is already mum to Ripley (13) and Nico (8),is expecting her third child with husband Ol Parker early next year.

 

“Basically, I had two options; to withdraw from the show which would have meant the show collapsing, or to commit regardless.”

 

The 41-year-old admits that she thought it was “going to work out fine” because Claire Danes and Anna Paquin had worked during their first pregnancies, but now admits that she was “naive” to think that it “was going to be anything other than mayhem”.

 

Despite her struggles and having to deal with pregnancy related hormones, Thandie has found the experience rewarding confessing that she feels more “alive to the present, more in tune.”
