With so many baby products on the market it can be hard to decide what you need and what you don’t need. However, while some items might seem a little unnecessary, crazy even, they could probably be your best buy ever.

Ice cube trays
After pumping, rather than freezing a whole bottle of breast milk, which your baby may or may not drink, ice cube trays allow you freeze your milk in small quantities. So when it comes to using them you can take out a little at a time.

Bottle warmer
While this may seem like a bit of a luxury, milk needs to be at room temperature before serving it to your baby and a bottle warmer is perfect if you are out and about. No more boiling water pouring into a bowl and sitting the bottle in it for ages.

Baby music CDs
Nothing will soothe your baby quicker than soft sounding music and you will be glad that you have a couple of baby music CDs stashed away. You might need to add a CD player to the list if you don’t have one though.

Burping blanket
Easy to wash, quick to dry - this will become your new best friend, when you realise how many you’ll go through in a day.

Baby knee pads
As soon as your baby starts crawling, they will need something to protect their little knees. Knee pads simply slip over their little knees and protect them while they are crawling.

Radiation shield
If you are a little concerned about radiation emitting from your phone or laptop you can now get a piece of mind by covering your phone or laptop with a radiation shield blanket. Yes, they are a real.

Buggy storage
To avoid carrying around a heavy handbag, baby bag and pushing a buggy, you should invest in a buggy storage that will hang from your strollers handlebars.

An on-the-go changing mat
While it may seem a little unnecessary, when you suddenly have to change your baby’s nappy somewhere with no baby changing facilities, this will definitely come in handy.

Breast feeding pillow
If you are planning on breast feeding, you definitely need to invest in a nursing pillow. Your baby will be exactly where they need to be, making it so much easier on your back.
