McFly frontman Danny Jones is about to swap his guitar for a baby bottle, as the due date of his first child approaches.
The All about You singer will become a father for the first time in January.
Danny and his wife Georgia may be excited about welcoming their first baby in the new year, but before they embark on the madness that is parenthood, the pair jetted off for one final holiday as non-parents.
Georgia took to Instagram to share snaps from their sunny getaway in Greece. The model showed off her growing bump in the sweet pictures.
The mum-to-be admitted that she was starting to feel nervous about the next chapter of her life, “It's so daunting/scary/exciting to think that this is our last little trip away, just the two of us as non-parents!”
She revealed that both herself and Danny are making the most of their free-time before their little bundle of joy arrives in January, “Enjoying every second of this calm before the madness that is being Mummy & Daddy."
The pair kicked back and relaxed in the sunshine in Mykonos, Greece: “Couldn't be happier spending this precious 'us' time at @kenshomykonos it's a beauty”, said Georgia.
Georgia isn’t the only one who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her baby. Danny recently opened up about becoming a father for the first time.
His bandmates Tom Fletcher and Harry Judd make fatherhood look like the greatest adventure of all time and Danny cannot wait to experience the joy for himself.
He shared his delight on Good Morning Britain, “It’s amazing news. I’m over the moon. It’s mental how much love I already have for this little human inside my wife’s tummy.”
When asked about whether he was nervous about parenthood Danny said, “Not really, I’m so excited. I can’t wait, I think it’s amazing.”
The thrill of becoming a parent has kept the Shine A Light singer’s nerves away, but Danny was extremely emotional when Georgia announced that she was expecting their first child.
The model posted a touching video to her YouTube channel which features a clip of her telling Danny he’s going to become a dad.
The emotional scene sees the singer break down in tears as his wife shares the life-changing news with her husband.
In the video, Georgia asks her husband to close his eyes and hold his hands out, she then places the positive pregnancy test in his hands.
Danny is left stunned as it hits him that he’s going to have his own son and daughter.
We cannot wait for the Danny and Georgia to welcome baby Jones into the world.
