Detectives in England have appealed to the public for their help in locating a ‘tattooed’ man, who allegedly attempted to abduct a little girl in the East London area last weekend.
According to reports, the four-year-old child was playing in a playground in Victoria Park when she was approached by the male, on Sunday afternoon at around 1:20pm.
The man, believed to be between the ages of 20 and 30, is said to have grabbed the child’s arm and attempted to drag her away. He was, however, stopped by a relative who saw the frightening incident unfold.
The man ran off when confronted and, thankfully, the little girl was unharmed.
London police are now looking for members of the public to help them with their enquiries as they try to trace the suspect.
The man is white, approximately 5ft 6in in height, and of slim build with brown hair. When seen, he was wearing a blue hooded jacket with two black patches on the back, baggy light-blue jeans and black trainers.
The man also has two rather distinctive tattoos on show: a hand print on the right side of his neck, and the words ‘Only God Can Judge Me’ written in Old English font between his thumb and forefinger.
Anyone with information that could be of use to the police is asked to get in touch immediately. You can do so by contacting the authorities on 020 7275 4550, or calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
