This summer, Disneyland is getting a dramatic makeover into...Electroland.

The iconic children’s attraction in Paris will become an electronic dance music (EDM) venue on July 8, with fans being able to wander the park as normal during the day, and enjoy thumping music at night.

Grammy-winning American DJ and producer Steve Aoki will top the bill at the one-day event, along with Australian duo Nervo. French DJs Michael Calfan and Richard Orlinski are also in the lineup.

Music will meet magic in the French capital, as the venue will have a spectacular light show and projections display. Promising “immersive partying”, Electroland will feature giant LED screens and projection mapping onto The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

The event will mark Disneyland’s 25th anniversary and provide an opportunity for grown-up Disney fans to revisit arguably the most famous amusement park of their generation.

“Electroland is designed to reach out to the generation born with the Disneyland Park 25 years ago, offering the chance to see the park as it has never been seen before,” the company said, in a statement.

Electroland will allow 10,000 fans to live an immersive experience with a world-famous DJ, a festive and friendly atmosphere, and - the cherry on the cake - access to the park's attractions.

Tickets are on sale now. Standard tickets are €68. There’s also a ‘Privilege Ticket’ which gives you access to a ‘dedicated privilege zone’ just in front and closest to the stage and claims to be ‘the best way to enjoy this exceptional evening’. The family event is open to children of all ages.

Apart from Electroland, the attraction will host a number of different features for their anniversary. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released next December, but Disney recently confirmed that they expected the Star Wars franchise to continue into 2030.

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is coming to Discoveryland. Their website says: “With more than 70 different mission combinations, you’ll travel to the exotic worlds of Jakku, Hoth, Tatooine, the Death Star and so many more!” Disneyland is also featuring a ‘Dazzling Lights Show’ and a series of floats to march through the venue featuring well-known characters.

What do you think, mums? Would you go for a sneaky rave to pick yourself up after a day at Disneyland?
