This is such a beautiful story.

Parents Ana Paula Silveira and Alvaro Zermiani are both legally blind, so were a little nervous when they found out that they were expecting a baby.

The couple were concerned that they would struggle to connect with their son during pregnancy because they wouldn’t be able to see the ultrasound pictures, so doctors decided to help them in the best way possible.

While most parents-to-be would get a printed picture, doctors thought long and hard about the best way to help Ana and Alvaro bond with their baby.

And came up with a 3D-printed sonogram so the parents could feel how small their tiny baby was in the womb.

But they didn’t stop there.

In fact, they printed one for every single scan.

So while they couldn’t see their baby's changes, the couple could follow them through the power of touch.
