There is nothing quite like the excitement ahead of welcoming a baby into the family – it spreads to everyone including, sometimes, our pets!
This turned out to be the case recently for Texas couple Whitney and Jeremy Bowie, who decided to mark their pregnancy with a sweet maternity photo shoot.
While the couple had their posing down, it seems there was one slight hitch – their dog, Lucy the terrier, insisted on being a part of the photos!
When it got to the point where they could not get a photo without Lucy, they decided to welcome her in for each shot – with absolutely hilarious and sweet results.
Whitney’s sister, Atalia, couldn’t help but share her amusement over one particular shot featuring Jeremy’s hand AND Lucy’s paw on Whitney’s belly, and she took to Twitter to share the delight with the world.

Needless to say, it didn’t take long for the hilariously sweet image to go viral, and some of the reactions have been priceless.
“Oh my god, that is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” wrote one Twitter user, summing up our feelings exactly.
