Former Emmerdale star Gemma Atkinson’s pregnancy updates have been a complete and utter breath of fresh air.

The soon-to-be mum has been incredibly honest and empowering since she revealed she was expecting her first child with Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Gorka Marquez.

The actress has helped show her followers and fellow expectant-mums what it is really like to be pregnant, sharing everything and anything on her social media from her obscure cravings to the tearful moment when she realised her dad would never meet his grandchild.

This weekend, Gemma revealed one of her biggest pregnancy updates since sharing the big news earlier in the year.

She took to Instagram to share a video of her growing bump and finally confirmed when she will welcome her first child.

Gemma shared that her due date is a lot sooner than we thought. She captioned her snap, “In less than 2 months you'll be here.”

The mum-to-be couldn’t help but gush about the pending arrival of her tiny tot and said she is genuinely excited for what’s to come.

Mums couldn’t help but shower Gemma with love and praise for being so real throughout her entire pregnancy. She has shared both highlights and low points with her fans and that honesty is something we need to see more of online.

Another added: “Keep being you! Such an inspiration to so many girls and women.”

There’s no doubt Gemma and Gorka are feeling as excited as ever, especially with only eight weeks to go until they meet their baby girl or boy.
