Whether we’re a first time mum – or an old hat at this parenting thing – being pregnant is a wonderful, exciting (and often scary) time.
No matter when the day comes, we’re never quite prepared for it, are we? Even if we’ve been hoping and wishing, it’s still a shock. We’re PREGNANT, and pretty soon we’re going to have a brand new family member.
So when we finally get our heads around it, our next step is usually to ask the question: where do we start?
There’s so much noise out there that it can be overwhelming – how to care for baby, what products to choose from, what to feed them. With such a raft of information, it’s hard to know if we’re doing things right.
That’s why we think parent-to-be events are so important. Not only do we learn information from the experts about what to expect when baby arrives, we also get the opportunity to meet with other mums-to-be to swap stories, worries and support.
Like the Mamas & Papas FREE Parents to Be events, taking place all over the country – which offer a fun, relaxed place to meet other parents-to-be people, and ask helpful advice from experienced experts.
The company has 35 years’ experience making quality products for parents and babies, so it’s fair to say these guys really know their stuff.
Covering topics like safety, first aid, sleeping, nutrition during pregnancy and beyond, and the (all-important) car seat fitting, they’ll help you get up to speed with all the important stuff. And as well as this, the events will feature a range of talks from midwives, The Red Cross, healthcare professionals and their own team of in-store experts, so you can get your head around everything you need.
Oh, and of course there’s the important bit: when you attend you’ll be treated to drinks and nibbles, and when you leave you’ll score yourself a free goody bag and exclusive offers!
Sure don’t we deserve it?
The events are taking place all over the country on Thursday 13th October, Sunday 16th October & Sunday 23rd October, so book your place at your nearest Mamas & Papas Parents to Be event on the website here.
