The family of a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday are growing increasingly concerned about the welfare of their daughter.
Riiannah Percival, with an address in Rotherham South Yorkshire, was last seen on Friday evening when leaving the family home.
Police have appealed to the public for assistance in locating Riiannah who is described as five foot six inches in height, of slim build with long hair that she generally wears in a pony tail.
It is understood that the teenage girl was wearing leggings, a grey leather jacket and a blue hoody when last seen on Haldane Road on Friday.
Commenting on Riiannah's disappearance, Sergeant Jim Sheard, from Rotherham District Police, said yesterday: 'Riiannah is a young girl who has not been seen for the last 24 hours.'
Acknowledging the despair felt by her friends and family, he continued: "Her family are understandably worried and we are increasingly concerned for Riiannah's safety."
Sergeant Sheard offered information to the public in the hopes it may reunite the missing teen with her family, saying: "Riiannah has links to Sheffield and the Abbeydale Road area in particular."
Uring the public to get involved in the search for the young girl, he continued: "I would ask anyone living or working around Abbeydale Road to look at the photograph of Riiannah and if you've seen anyone matching the description, please contact police."
Our thoughts go out to Riiannah's family and friends at this difficult time.
Update: We are delighted to report tht Riiannah has been found safe and well.
