We can't deal with this level of emotion.

An anonymous poster shared their story of loss and hope on Love What Mattersand we're in bits:

An only child for 11 years, the poster shared that their son always wanted to be a big brother.

That dream nearly came true in June 2016, when they fell pregnant with twins. But unfortunately, it was a miscarriage:

"We all took it hard," they wrote. "But my son took it especially hard, not able to understand why this was happening when he wanted to be a big brother so badly."

After a year and a half of trying, they got pregnant with their rainbow baby. So they decided to surprise their son in the best way:

"We told our son, by wrapping up a framed sonogram picture. His reaction was heartwarming and more than I expected."

The video cuts off at the end, as they were so overwhelmed by emotion that they couldn't record anymore:

"I had to go and sit on the floor with him, and cry together."

They continued to say that despite the big age gap, the new arrival is  "going to have the best big brother in the world":

"I have a feeling they will be the best of friends."

We're not crying, you're crying!
