New figures obtained by the Labour Party show that parents in parts of the country have seen a 54% increase in childminding costs.
Suffolk seems to have experienced the worst at 54% with an increase from £64.32 to £98.75 for 15 hours of childminding services.
That's a staggering increase of nearly £1,800 a year.
In Norfolk, there's been an increase of 23% that looks like an increase from £76 to £93.19 for 15 hours which amounts to nearly £900 over the course of a full year.
A spokeswoman for Labour, Jenny Chapman said that parents were being let down by the increased costs and families across the country are struggling to keep up.
The Government has responded to this by saying investment in childcare is at record levels and it was spending £6 billion by 2020 to ensure families get support with their childcare needs.
They are also saying they are increasing funding by £300 million a year to ensure more free places in nurseries.
The National Audit Office has found flaws in this plan however saying it will only help 390,000 children and Labour have hit back saying the plan is under-funded by £500 million.
