Every four year old has dreams of being a super-hero – well this boy can definitely say he is his dad’s hero from now on!

Quillin Groenwald came to his dad’s rescue when a tree fell on his father’s leg and he became trapped. His dad Grant Goenwald said:

"He knew that I was in trouble. He was a little freaked, but once I told him that he needed to help me, he knew I was alive."

It was just good luck that Grant had brought his son with him, as he usually goes chopping for fire wood alone, but Grant’s wife had to take their youngest son, who has cerebral palsy, to therapy and sent Quillin along with his dad.

Grant carefully instructed Quillan to bring him the chainsaw so that he could cut the tree away from his ankle and ring the ambulance.

"He's a very special kid for 4-years-old to be able to do that stuff. I'm very proud of him.

“If he wasn't out there, I probably would have been stuck there five to six hours.”

Well done, Quillin!
