As gifts go, this is probably one of the best we have ever seen, or read!
Having a very special message to share with their daughter, parents in the U.S. decided they would do something extra special for her.
The couple created a special family story-book, and we're totally in love with the idea.
The book called 'My New Best Friend' was created for their only child, and it's a wonderful rendition of their family life together.
The first page begins: "I know it's been a long journey with just mummy and daddy all to yourself, with so many adventures you can tell, please do tell."
"I hear you're smart and kind with a heart full of love, it's all I could wish from up above," writes Mum and Dad.
However, we find some pretty neat hints as the story moves forward, and we can tell what this young girl is going to learn.
"Someone to look up to and teach me new things, like how to be the best person I can be. I know it's a little scary what you're about to find out, but I promise it's a blessing without a doubt."
"Being an only child has come to an end, as Mummy is due for your new best friend. You will be my big sister, I'm so excited to be hand by hand, just my sissy and me."
These guys are expecting a baby, and wanted their little girl to share in the joy after all these years: "We wrote her a story book and couldn't wait to see her reaction. It was the sweetest in the world," added Dad.
While their book concentrates on their own little quirks, we're sure this can be adapted to many different scenarios - how cool is it?
