Some terribly sad news today as Gordon Ramsay announced that his wife, Tana suffered a miscarriage at five months pregnant.
Taking to Facebook, Gordon said in an official statement:
“We had a devastating weekend as Tana has sadly miscarried our son at five months.”
Thanking his fans for their support, the TV chef also extended his thanks to the medical team at Portland Hospital who cared for 41-year-old Tana.
“We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes.”
Gordon announced news of his wife's pregnancy on The Late Late Show with James Corden, saying:
“We have three girls and a boy... and one more on the way.”
Gordan and Tana are already parents to Megan, who is 18, 14-year-old Tilly and twins Jack and Holly, who are 16.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the family at this sad time.
