There’s nothing like some baby news from celeb-land to get us through the day, and major congratulations are in order this weekend.
Canadian actress and star of Grey’s Anatomy, Caterina Scorsone, has revealed that she is pregnant with her second child.
The 34-year-old, who is best known for playing the role of Dr Amelia Shepherd on the hit ABC show, shared the news as she stepped out on the red carpet of the station’s Television Critics Association press tour party.
Confirming that she and husband Rob Giles are expecting again, Caterina told Entertainment Tonight that they are ‘very, very excited’.
And although the couple know the gender of their little one, they have decided to keep it a secret.
Caterina and Rob are already parents to a four-year-old daughter named Eliza.
Following the big reveal, Caterina took to her Instagram account to praise her ‘glam squad’ for their ‘incredible bump stylings’.
Caterina is also known for her role in Grey’s Anatomy spin-off show Private Practice, in which her first pregnancy was actually written into a series storyline.
