If you think that your working life should end while you're in your sixties, think again.

Anthony Mancinelli is still going strong in his profession at the ripe old age of 107.

He is a barber by trade and at his impressive age, he is showing no signs of slowing down.

Anthony is still working full time, cutting hair five days a week for 8 hours a day.

How amazing is that?

Anthony has been an employee of the barbershop for a whopping 97 years after being born in 1911 near Naples, Italy.

When he was eight years old, he and his family sailed to the United States with his family, arriving in New York on September 11, 1919.

His career in cutting hair started in 1921 aged ten when haircuts cost a 25 cents.

Despite his age, he is one of the most reliable barbers at his job.

His boss, Jane Dinezza said, ''he never calls in sick.''

She continued, "I have young people with knee and back problems, but he just keeps going. He can do more haircuts than a 20-year-old kid. They're sitting there looking at their phones, texting or whatever, and he's working."

John O’Rourke, one of his customers said, ''I don’t let anyone else touch my hair. The guy’s been cutting hair for a century.”

The Guinness World Book of Records recognised him as the world's oldest working barber in 2007 when he was 96 years old.

When asked about retiring he said, ''why would I?"

He is an inspiration to us all and proof that age really is just a number.
