Is it too early to start getting excited about Christmas? We can’t help but feel a tiny bit jolly when we think of the most wonderful time of the year.

The thought of sitting by the fire with the lights twinkling on the Christmas tree and a mug of hot chocolate in our hands makes us feel so warm and fuzzy.

Christmas is one of the best, but most hectic times of the year, especially for parents.

Many of us endured the stress of trying to purchase popular game Pie Face during the Christmas of 2016. The toy was one of the most sought after gifts and was swiped off the shelves of toy stores across the country.

We know there are over three months to go until Christmas Day, but John Lewis have released their top ten toys for Christmas 2018, in a bid to avoid disappointment during gift exchanges.

This year parents are hoping to keep their children away from screens so gifts like laptops and iPads are a big no-no.

Main buyer Harry Boughton said: “‘Miniature home products continue to trend, so for parents and family members looking to encourage creativity and role play, we’ve created a Waitrose supermarket and mini wooden kitchen where little ones can pick up “ingredients”, before rustling up a delicious imaginary meal in their play kitchen.”

The traditional spinning top is making a comeback this Christmas, but with a modern twist. The retailer believes i-Top is going to be on millions of children’s letters to Santa.
