McFly drummer Harry Judd has two beautiful children, baby boy Kit, and a 1-year-old daughter Lola. The charming dad has the sweetest little family with wife Izzy, but he has opened up about their struggle to conceive and the pressure it put on their relationship.

 

Harry revealed that his marriage was at breaking point when they failed to get pregnant naturally. Izzy and Harry were trying to start a family, but couldn’t conceive without the help of IVF.

 

Harry admitted that their IVF journey had a negative impact on their marriage. He spoke to The Sun about their difficulties.

 

When his wife Izzy discovered that hey had fertility problems she changed, “As soon as we realised there was a problem, it took over her life.”

 

The Strictly Come Dancing champion shared that Izzy was eager to become a mum, it was always a huge dream of hers and to have that taken away from her was soul destroying.

He said they became fixated on starting a family. Their determination took over and Harry said at one point it’s all they cared about, “The dynamic changed because all the focus was on getting pregnant.”

 

Izzy had to take numerous types of medication to help her get pregnant, the medicine changed her as a person. The medication left Izzy feeling bloated and she lost her confidence as she gained weight.

 

The violinist's mental state was heavily impacted by the couple’s fertility issues, Harry said seeing her lose her true self-was devastating, “I lost her a little bit. I lost that smiley, confident, beautiful wife.”

 

The struggle to conceive rocked their relationship and their path to parenthood was full of painful hurdles. Three years ago, Harry and Izzy managed to conceive through IVF, but after seven weeks Izzy had a miscarriage.

 

 

Harry and Izzy got married in 2012, he described it as one of the most memorable and happiest days of their lives.

 

Fast forward to 2013 and his wife was at the lowest point of her life, “She was in absolute despair. I remember after two years thinking: ‘God, we haven’t even had a kid and already I’m sick of this.’”

 

Despite the hardships and heartache, the couple never gave up and finally welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lola Rose Emma Judd, into the world on 25 January 2016.

 

This year a miracle occurred for the pair when they conceived naturally. Izzy gave birth to their son Kit Harry Francis Judd on 26 August 2017.
