Mums-to-be often disagree about what they feel is safe during pregnancy, and what isn't.

What one mum-to-be does will send the next running.

That’s why pregnant soccer star Sydney Leroux was furious when, after Instagramming a snap of herself tubing on a lake, she got a tonne of hurtful comments.

Most of the comments were along the lines of “you’re gonna kill that baby.”

Later that day, the U.S. Women’s National team forward posted another snap online, along with a powerful message for the trolls.

But she didn’t just slam them for sticking their oar in, she took the opportunity to teach them a little bit.

“MY body is the body that is creating life,” she wrote. “My body is the one that has stretch marks and cellulite and varicose veins and sore hips and back pain that runs down my legs. MY body is the body that is tired and sore and emotional and the happiest it’s ever been.”

"So if I want to jump in a pool, go on a tube and slowly ride around with my husband, dance like an idiot or work out I am absolutely going to. Leave your awful comments to yourself and let me enjoy MYSELF and MY body the way I want to."
