The American Fork Hospital in Utah were on a mission to evict a baby under official court documentation.

Providing evidence of the papers online, it has emerged an unborn baby was given three days to depart it's mother's womb.

Taking the notice on board, baby Gretsel vacated the premises within 12 hours, obviously perplexed by the turn of events!

In a hilarious encounter, Gretsel's mum, Kaylee, had asked a judge to help her out when Gretsel just wouldn't come along after giving her mum plenty of false hope.

Kaylee, who works for the court service, was two weeks away from her due date when her contractions had started, believing the baby would be making an early entrance.

However, when the pain stopped, she was back to work at the Fourth District Court ready for the day ahead.

Nonetheless, when she bumped into resident judge, Lynn Davis, they joked that he would sign an eviction notice.

Seeing how much distress the mum-to-be was in, Judge Davis happily signed and stamped the official notice for nuisance, giving Kaylee some hope.

The notice served it's exact purpose though, as Kaylee went into labour and less than 12 hours later she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl, Gretsel.

The new mum joked: "She didn’t want to be in contempt of court."

This is definitely a unique story to share with the little one when she's older - have you any unique and funny stories to share about your pregnancy?
