Life of luxury for baby Blue Ivy Carter

The birth of Beyonce’s baby, Blue Ivy Carter, has been the hot topic of conversation among mummies since she arrived into the world on January 7th. Judging by the following photos, we’re already jealous of baby Blue! Above is the VIP suite where Beyonce stayed during her time in Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. This is more like a luxury hotel suite than a hospital room!

It includes a living area complete with a cream, three-piece suite and coffee table. It also features a kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and shelf of coffee cups. There is also a single bed especially for the father-to-be or another family member where they can rest while waiting for the arrival of the baby.

Pimped-out van transported Beyonce and family home

Once it was time to go home, Beyonce and Blue were sprinted out of the hospital in this customised Mercedes van along with daddy Jay Z. The couple purchased the van a couple of months ago in preparation for the arrival of Blue. They left the Lenox Hill Hospital at 1.30am on Tuesday and were reportedly followed by a parade of cars in the darkness, presumably to their luxury Tribeca penthouse apartment in New York.

As if the sheer size of the van wasn’t impressive enough, the 30-year-old had the inside of the van completely pimped out and reportedly spent $1 million kitting out the Mercedes.

The new mum had hand stitched cream Italian leather seats installed with chestnut lining. A full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet were also put in. Is it just us, or wouldn’t you rather wait?! Taking a shower (or going to the toilet for that matter) in a moving van can’t be easy!

The happy family will be soon moving into their mansion in New York. Here is a picture from earlier in the year when it was under construction. If the hospital suite was that plush, you can only imagine what the interior of their home must be like!
