The young patients at Arnold Palmer Children’s hospital had a magical night in preparation for Thanksgiving.
Dubbed ‘Good Night Lights’, Orlando Police officers have started a heartwarming tradition with the nearby hospital.
They pull up their squad cars to the side of the building, where the kids can watch from their windows, and flash their red and blue lights.
The children then flick on and off their rooms' lights in response.
They are all smiles as they take part in the colourful Christmas affair, making the night a fun and much-needed distraction from their hospital stay.
And last night, the police officers went one step further.
One of the little girls has always believed in fairies - a dream that the cops were able to make come true.
Bringing along her magic wand, they escorted her down to the cars in the car park.
And every time she touched her wand to the hood of a vehicle, the lights lit up just for her.
Orlando Police shared a video of the night on their Twitter page and she is shown with a wide grin.
