Police in Manchester have appealed to the public for their help in tracing two young boys, who have been missing since Monday night.

According to reports, the families of 11-year-old Reo Ullett and nine-year-old Lovelle Taylor-Hibbert are ‘frantic with worry’ over the boys’ disappearance.

Investigating Inspector Paul Coburn said in a statement: "One of the boys' friends overheard discussions that the pair were thinking about going camping, but they had no equipment to do this and no food or money.”

"We have been making numerous efforts to find these boys overnight and are appealing for the public to help us today,” he added.

The disappearance is said to be totally out of character for the boys, and Inspector Coburn was eager to let them know that they are not in any trouble.

Reo was last seen at around 5pm, on Whitby Road, on Monday evening. He was reportedly wearing a grey Ralph Lauren tracksuit, a black Nike T-shirt and black Nike trainers at the time.

Lovelle, meanwhile, is said to have been last seen at around 8pm on Dorset Road, wearing a black hoody, green joggers and a gold-and-black T-shirt.

If you have information that could help the authorities with their investigation, you are asked to get in touch with the Central Park police station on 0161 856 3921.

We sincerely hope that these little boys will be found safe and sound, and soon.
