We are thrilled to hear that Me Before You actor Sam Claflin and his wife Laura Haddock are expecting their second baby.
Laura attended a jewellery launch in London on Monday evening where she debuted her petite baby bump in a stunning pastel pink gown.
The Missing star posted a photo from the event on her Instagram, it was flooded with well wishes within seconds.
She wrote, “Lovely evening celebrating @maisonbirks returning to where it all began. #BirksUK thank you for having me and of course thank you to my love @emiliawickstead for my dressmaking the whole evening a royally girly affair.”
One person wrote, “A new baby is coming... Congrats.”
Another added, “Beautiful dress and beautiful baby bump. Congratulations!”
One fan said, “Congrats Laura!! So happy for you both and the little man who will become big brother.”
Laura and Sam are known for being extremely private about their relationship and family life. They rarely ever share information about their personal lives, so fans were delighted to find out the exciting news.
Sam and Laura already have one son named Pip. He will turn two in December.
The soon to be father-of-two admitted that he was clueless about fatherhood, “I always thought, naïvely, that I knew what it would be like. I always thought that I'd understand. But it's like another level of love that you've never experienced before.”
The parents met at an audition for My Week With Marilyn, Sam spoke fondly of his darling wife, “My wife, Laura, is undoubtedly my best friend. I didn't know anything about her other than that her name was Laura, she was very attractive and she seemed lovely.”
The Hunger Games star admitted that he knew she was the one straight away, “I went home, woke my friend up at 7 am and said, 'I just met the girl I want to marry. I love this girl like, I love her. She's perfect’.”
The lovebirds got married in an private ceremony in 2011.
Sam revealed that Laura reminds him of his mum in many ways, “She reminds me of my mum so much which I think—a guy will know, right? It's important. Your mum knows everything.”
He said Laura and his mum are similar in so many ways, but there are numerous things that make his wife so unique.
He went on to share that Laura is his soulmate, “She's my female counterpart is the best way to describe her.”
