Police have issued a fresh appeal for information relating to the whereabouts of 14-year-old Jade Lynch, who has now been missing for 10 days.
The teen, who is originally from Warrington in Cheshire, disappeared a week-and-a-half ago. She reportedly told her relatives that she was going to meet someone in St Helen’s, where she has been in foster care with her siblings since August 2015.
Police hosted a press conference this morning appealing for information, and revealed that they are following a number of different lines of enquiry. At this point, they suspect that Jade may possibly have gone to meet someone she got acquainted with online.

Jade is described as being ‘extremely vulnerable’, while her disappearance is said to be totally out of character. This morning, Jade's sister Stephanie made an emotional appeal at the press conference, saying it would ‘mean the world to her’ to know that Jade is safe.
We are thinking of the family at this concerning time, and we sincerely hope that Jade will be found safe and sound, soon.
