Mrs Brown's Boy's star Brendan O’ Carroll is well-known for his wonderful generosity. Each year he donates thousands of Christmas dinners to families in his native Ireland and most recently he paid for the funeral of a homeless Polish man who was living in County Clare.
Now once again the big-hearted star of Mrs Brown’s Boys is reaching out to a family in need.
Pregnant Sarah Paino tragically died in a horrific collision in Hobart, Tasmania on Friday – but miraculously, her unborn child survived.
And now Brendan, who was appearing on Australian chat show The Project, has offered live on air to donate $50,000 dollars to Sarah’s husband Daniel and their two-year old son.
“I was really touched by the piece you did about Daniel in Hobart,” he said on the show. “We're very much a family so if it's okay with you guys – we as the Brown family would like to donate 50 grand to that fund.
“We're travelling out to do the show in Hobart and we hope to make you guys smile – but in the meantime Hobart's been really good to us and we'd want to get a chance to be good back.”
Amazing.
