A text conversation between an expectant mum and a birth photographer she hoped to hire is going viral and angering mums everywhere.

Sharing the conversation on Facebook, the picture shows the mum’s response, after it seems the photographer used some choice language to address the fact that the mum-to-be would be having her baby via C-section.

“I didn’t ‘opt’ for anything, but alright,” read the pregnant woman’s message.

“I had no idea birth photographers discriminated against people for how they birth their babies, but that’s good to know.

“Have a nice day.”

The response the woman received has shocked thousands of other mums online.

“A surgery isn’t a birth, my dear,” read the cruel message.

“You aren’t giving birth. You are having surgery to remove your abdomen.

“That is not birth no matter how you swing it and I, for one, don’t want to be there to take pictures of it.”

The interaction, shared on the Breastfeeding Mama Talk Facebook page, has had nearly 20,000 reactions.

“If you decide to give motherhood a go and have an actual birth, let me know and we can schedule your session,” the message continued.

“This motherhood job is hard; if I were you, I would think twice about starting such a job by cutting corners so early in the game.”

No matter what way you chose to deliver your child, no mother should be judged for her decision and spoken to like this.
