We all know that when a woman craves something, she HAS to have it, or else, and when it’s a pregnant lady well you better do your best to find whatever she’s looking for.
So when a heavily pregnant mum-to-be found out that her local Aldi had a special offer on her favourite chicken enchiladas, well, she was all over it.
The expectant mother shared: “On Saturday my father-in-law called me up, knowing just how much I love them, to let me know they're currently on sale and to go and stock up.”
But things took an unexpected twist when grumpyandhungry arrived at the store.
“I grab my veggies I look everywhere in the meat section and decide that maybe they just haven't put them out yet for tonight so I decided to ask.”
“The man said they are a special only and discontinued sale on Saturday evening.”
But what this guy didn’t know is this pregnant soon to be mama wanted her enchiladas now.
I just cried in the supermarket because they ran out of enchiladas from BabyBumps
So what was the result?
There were no enchiladas!!
“I'm not even joking, I burst into tears right there in front of him.”
But it all ended well... sort of... grumpyandhungry explains:
“Now I'm in the car, sobbing, with no enchiladas and instead a 1L tub of ice cream. Pregnancy is hard, I'm so emotional.”
Don’t worry grumpyandhungry, we’re not pregnant right now and chances are we’d do the exact same thing!
